Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford.
This illustrated print of the Radcliffe Camera captures one of Oxford’s most recognisable landmarks at the heart of the University of Oxford. Viewed from Catte Street beside the Bodleian Library and Divinity School, the scene shows the Radcliffe Camera in the evening as sunset light breaks through deep blue rain clouds. A passing cyclist and a student with umbrella and Oxford scarf reflect everyday university life in this historic academic setting. The Radcliffe Camera, completed in 1749, is part of the Bodleian Libraries and remains a symbol of Oxford’s scholarly heritage, making this artwork an ideal gift for Oxford students, alumni, graduates, and anyone with a connection to the city.
This artwork was hand drawn over 35 hours on an iPad using Procreate, based on the Zac's own reference photos and sketches from Oxford. Every element, from the architecture to the lighting and figures, was hand drawn and coloured from scratch to create this Oxford UK travel print.
