Meanwood Valley Trail, Leeds, West Yorkshire. This artwork features a small waterfall at the top of Meanwood Park as you follow the Valley Trail walkway beside the Meanwood Beck stream into the forest. The Meanwood Beck is a tributary of the River Aire in Leeds and flows into multiple weirs and ponds throughout Meanwood Park, regularly enjoyed by its many visitors.
This scene was inspired by a sunday afternoon walk starting in Headingley and following the Valley trail towards Mill Pond Lane Meanwood where we then made our way to the top of the park after a quick coffee at the Three Cottages Cafe. We left just after rainfall had dispersed into a sunny day, resulting in a heavy flowing stream and a wet golden light gleaming over the rocks and greenery of the trail.
This signed artwork print is perfect for any visitor of Meanwood Park and those who enjoy hiking the Meanwood Valley Trail.
