Malham Cove, north of the Village of Malham, North Yorkshire.
This curved limestone formation was shaped by ancient water and glaciers over millions of years and today stands 230ft tall. It is one of the most impressive sights on the Pennine Way and a popular destination for hikers, climbers and bird watchers looking to spot the nesting peregrine falcons.
This iPad illustration created in Procreate looks up at the face of the Cove where a massive waterfall once boomed and where now the water flows toward and underneath the structure. Two climbers can be seen making their way towards the rockface where two more daring climbers cling on suspended to the stone.
This spectacular sight within the Yorkshire Dales National Park has been captured in this detailed artwork, a perfect gift for any avid Yorkshire hiker, climber or admirer of Yorkshire’s perfect beauty.
