This thriving suburb is one of the most popular in the city, well known it’s entertaining Otley Runs, Indian and Mediterranean food, Headingley Stadium and the beautiful Beckett Park. This everchanging high-street is home to students and long term residents alike but the historic Skyrack Pub is a timeless feature of Headingley for all generations to enjoy.
This illustration was hand painted in watercolour, digitally scanned and painted over and layered with textures within iPad Procreate and Photoshop.
I lived for 50 years plus around the corner off Otley road.. many good nights in the Skyrack and Original Oak..and also enjoyed ... back in the day... Leeds Market when it was a proper market.
